At the end of April, with its complete completion, the “treasury burning” will cease thanks to the comprehensive exploitation of the facility. This will be an economic turning point, with the stadium awaiting its iconic cover.

The installation of the roof could begin in May 2027, although it is completely ruled out due to the decisive phase of the season and the need for the first team to play at the Camp Nou. Therefore, work will begin in the summer of 2027 and will extend until the start of the 2027-28 season. This will be the period in which Barça will have to look for an alternative to play their matches at home.
