Javier López, millionaire businessman: “What made me stop being lazy was seeing that my parents couldn't make ends meet and cried when the rent had to be paid”

This Thursday, October 16, in the podcast 'I have a plan' they gave voice to Javier Lopeza millionaire businessman who managed to overcome a debt of more than 900 million euros in the midst of the crisis. In the podcast, asked if the ability to be successful is innate or everyone can acquire it, the businessman settled the debate. “Anyone. I was the coolest guy in the world. Nobody liked to sleep more than me«, he guaranteed.

“And what made you stop being lazy?” they asked him in the podcast. And Javier didn't even hesitate in his response. «Seeing that my parents couldn't make ends meet and cried when the rent had to be paid. And see the world a little. The 'handsome guy' who was with a car, the girls wanted to go with the guy because he had the car. “They didn't want to go with me,” he acknowledged.

«I worked as a waiter since I was 13 and I remember that I worked like a bastard while the others had fun with the girl I liked. And he said 'damn, what a shit life I've had.' But hey, it's my turn, but at least make my parents proud,” the businessman recalled in the podcast.

«My father was a person who was born after the war, he was born in 1938 and of course, he never went to school, he couldn't. And he told me that well, you had to learn, but you didn't have to spend yourself learninghe told me 'you don't study'. It was another moment in history. So Children, when they were little, had to help at home, even if you were 9 years oldto remove the weeds from the garden. They had to use you. So that? So that you were not lazy«, he assured.

Javier also explained that his father taught him not only how to work the fields, but also self-defense in case things got complicated in the future. «It was his vision so that when the war came, I wouldn't be a daddy's boy and the war will end me. He had to be a warrior. I told him 'dad, of course, I'll be in the garden, but the thing is I aspire to something more'. And he answered me 'but what to aspire to, if we are poor'.
