The list of absences is significant and covers various positions. Among those who have said goodbye to the concentration are the goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdalethe defender Fikayo Tomori and the forward Dominic Calvert-Lewin. They are joined by other important names who have had to return to their respective clubs.

The German coach pointed out that many of his international players have already played more minutes than those accumulated last season, which generates latent concern.

Despite adversity, Tuchel seeks a message of unity and understanding. “The players needed and deserved a mental break from football. We have been able to see the energy with which they have returned to concentration and how they are now reconnecting in the new environment,” he said. The priority is for the footballers to arrive at their clubs in the best conditions.

“We want them to perform in their clubs, but the reality is that it is our last concentration before leaving for the United States, so we want to reconnect with our principles. It is disappointing, but I am not angry with the players, I am not upset,” the coach reiterated, showing notable empathy.

The German coach wanted to highlight the commitment of the players, even those who have left due to injury. “I have the feeling that everyone was looking forward to coming. Some of the injured players even stayed to continue their treatment, which shows that they want to be with the group. Nobody left right away, there is a good atmosphere and that's how it should be,” concluded Tuchel, sending a message of optimism and cohesion for the immediate future.
