The condemnation of Celad joins that of other organisms that have raised their voice against the project that has had the support of figures as relevant as that of Donald Trump Jr.son of the president of the United States.

“It is not only that sports ethics and integrity are loaded, but that it is a risk to the health of athletes. They are irresponsible practices whose consequences can be lethal and irreversible,” the Celad General Director of La Celad, Carlos Peralta, told Efe. The maximum Spanish organism in doping issues adds in this way to the complaint made by the World anti -doping agencywhich described these 'improved games' or 'Enhanced Games' in English as “A dangerous and irresponsible concept.”

The promoters of this parallel competition to which they do comply with anti -doping regulations have always made it clear that their new competition seeks to expand the limits of human performance with medical supervision: “The future of sport is here. The World Las Vegas Resort will be the headquarters of this competition, which will consist of several athletics tests -100 meters and 100/110 fences-, swimming -50 and 100 free meters and butterfly- and weightlifting. In each modality, there will be a total award of half a million dollars (430,000 euros), of which half will be for the winner. In case of beating a world record in the Queens of Swimming and Athletics -100 and 50 free, the reward is a million dollars (about 860,000 euros), an economic incentive that, according to its organizers, 'would do justice' with the best athletes: “Excellence must always be rewarded and exceptional athletes deserve exceptional compensation.”

Although no Spanish athlete is not known that it will be part of the competition, Peralta says they will be aware of whether there are high -level athletes who do not renew their federative license for next year for a very clear reason: “We can do anti -doping controls to federated persons, but not who is not.
